M.Sc. International Program

The overall DIET teaching offer includes the following four degree programs:

  • B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering;
  • B.Sc. in Communications Engineering ;
  • M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering;
  • M.Sc. in Communications Engineering.

The B.Sc. degrees are three years duration programs. The M.Sc. degrees are two years duration programs (four semesters). A full description of the above degree courses is provided by the websites of corresponding Teaching Councils (in Italian Consiglio di Area Didattica – CAD). A Teaching Council is a board of professors that organizes, directs and coordinates the entire teaching offer and organization of a degree. At DIET there are two Teaching Councils: one for Electronic Engineering degrees (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and one for Communications Engineering degrees (B.Sc. and M.Sc.). You can access the websites of the Teaching Councils, that provide a complete overview of the teaching offer, by the following links. These websites are in Italian.

M.Sc. degrees in both Electronic and Communications Engineering are included in the International Program. They provide courses both in English and Italian. Within the first year of the degree, courses are almost totally in Italian. Courses in English within the M.Sc. in Communications Engineering are offered in the second year; courses in English in the M.Sc. in Electronic Engineering are mostly offered within the second year of the degree. If you are a foreign student, you are welcome to apply for attending the courses during your stay at DIET. Keep in mind that courses taught in the second year of the degree usually assume a knowledge level acquired during the first year.
